The Tahoe Coalition for the Homeless recently purchased three aging motels in South Lake Tahoe to convert into permanent housing for those in need. Liberty volunteers helped with demolition and restoration, including removing drywall and debris. Liberty recently attended the Annual Fall Festival at the El Dorado County Library in South Lake Tahoe. Liberty staff helped educate customers about our wildfire mitigation efforts, electrical safety, and customer programs that may be available to them.

Liberty is proud to support the Sugar Pine Foundation, a local nonprofit committed to saving Tahoe’s sugar pine trees. Recently, Liberty volunteers helped the foundation replant over 100 trees in our service areas, including a burn area from last year’s Caldor Fire. Thank you to our employees for their commitment to our communities!
Liberty recently held its first annual Hearts and Hands Week. Over the course of the week, employees had the opportunity to volunteer at events that would benefit the customers and communities we serve. We are proud of our employees and their dedication to our communities.
