Paying Your Bill

We offer many different ways to make payments. While most of these ways are free, some do incur a small processing fee. We do not profit from this fee. 

Explore the two different options below to help you find the best and most convenient way for you to pay your bill. 

How Would You Like to Pay?  


    • Pay by credit or debit card. American Express is now accepted.
      • Residential Customers: There is a $1.75 processing fee charged by our vendor. We do not profit from this fee.
      • Commercial Customers: There is a $7.75 processing fee charged by our vendor. We do not profit from this fee.

    • Call Liberty Customer Service at 760-247-6484. Using our automated Interactive Voice Response (“IVR”) phone system, you can pay with your debit or credit card.
      • Residential Customers: There is a  $1.75 processing fee charged by our vendor. We do not profit from this fee.
      • Commercial Customers: There is a $7.75 processing fee charged by our vendor. We do not profit from this fee.
    • Pay by electronic check.

    • Enroll in Automatic Payments
      Liberty is glad to offer Automatic Payments. The amount of your bill will be paid by automatic deduction from your checking account on the date before your bill becomes delinquent. You will continue to receive a statement, with the wording “DO NOT PAY”. You are encouraged to carefully review your statement for accuracy.

    • Authorized payment agents: Wal-Mart
      You can now make a payment on your current bi-monthly bill at any participating Wal-Mart locations. You will need to take your current billing stub with you in order to make a payment. A fee of $.88 cents is charged for a payment that will post in three business days. If you want the payment to post the next business day the fee is $1.88
    • Drop Box
      Liberty has a drop box located at the front of the building by the front door for after-hours payments.  Payments placed in the drop box are opened every morning after 8:00 am. Any payments made after 8:00 am will be posted the following business day.
    • Authorized payment agents: Wal-Mart
      You can now make a payment on your current bi-monthly bill at any participating Wal-Mart locations. You will need to take your current billing stub with you in order to make a payment. A fee of $.88 cents is charged for a payment that will post in three business days. If you want the payment to post the next business day the fee is $1.88

  • Set up automatic payments:

    There is no convenience fee for this service.

Things to Keep in Mind:

Residential Customers
  • Depending on which payment method you choose, the processing time can vary from 1-10 days. If your due date is less than ten days away, we recommend using a payment method with a faster processing time, such as paying in person or over the phone.  
  • Credit, ATM Debit and checking accounts have a $1.00 minimum and a $600 maximum payment per transaction.
    If your balance is larger than $600, you can make up to 8 separate transactions per 26 day period. You will be charged $1.75 per transaction.
  • Checks returned as non-sufficient funds (NSF) will incur a fee.
    Checks returned for stop payment or Unable to locate (customer entered their information wrong) will be required to pay a RETURN fee as well.
  • If you pay your Liberty bill at other payment centers, transactions will not post to your account immediately. Payment posting may take approximately three or more days after you make your payment at other payment centers. Other payment centers offers this service to the public, and you may be charged a convenience fee.
  • The official payment addresses, links and partners found on this page are authorized by Liberty. Payments made through unauthorized bill pay services are not guaranteed.
Commercial Customers
