Liberty worked with the Alliance for Water Awareness and Conservation (AWAC), the County of San Bernardino, the City of Victorville, and the Mojave Water Agency to educate the public on water conservation at the 40th Annual High Desert Home and Garden Show at the San Bernardino County fairgrounds in Victorville. Those who stopped by the booth received free conservation tools.

Liberty recently hosted a rainwater harvesting workshop and rain barrel distribution event in Apple Valley. A total of 99 barrels were purchased at a discounted price by 54 Liberty customers. Thank you to Rain Barrels International for co-organizing a successful event, our customers for saving water with their new rain barrels, and our employees for helping at the event!

Liberty, the Pacific Asian Consortium in Employment (PACE), and several other California water providers hosted a free event to help customers in Compton apply for financial assistance through the Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP). LIHWAP provides a one-time payment to income-eligible customers to cover current and past-due water or sewer bills.

Liberty employees recently participated in Liberty’s second annual Hearts and Hands Week. Over the course of the week, employees volunteered at events that would benefit the customers and communities we serve.
