Behind every glass of water you fill at your tap is a system that needs ongoing care, maintenance, and investment.
In Apple Valley, Liberty crews recently replaced about 1,500 feet of water main along Navajo Road, between Zuni Road and Allegheny Road. The project upgraded the older PVC main to a larger main made of more durable ductile iron to better support customers now and in the future.
The old water main had reached the end of its useful life, resulting in an increased risk of leaks. Our team not only replaced the pipeline to reduce the risk of service interruptions caused by water leaks, but they also installed a new fire hydrant, valves, and tie-ins to the existing water system.
For customers, these improvements support more efficient water delivery to their homes and businesses, improved water quality through increased circulation, and enhanced fire protection.
While this project upgraded infrastructure that isn’t seen every day, customers will see a direct benefit in how they receive safe, reliable service whenever they use water to drink, cook with, or bathe in.
