Paying Your Bill

We offer many different ways to make payments. While most of the ways are free, some do incur a small processing fee. 

Explore the two different options below to help you find the best and most convenient way for you to pay your bill.

  • You can make a one-time payment using a credit card online by clicking here or over the phone 24/7 at  1-800-231-1977
    There is a  $3.50 processing fee charged by our vendor. We do not profit from this fee.

  • There are multiple ways you can pay using your checking account: 

    1. Make a one-time payment
    You can make a one-time payment using a checking account online by clicking here or over the phone at  1-800-231-1977 .
    Using this method will result in a $3.50 processing fee charged by our payment vendor. We do not profit from this fee.

    2. Set up recurring payments
    If you want to set up recurring payments using a checking account, please fill out our Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) form found here. There is no fee for this service.
    The form will need to be completed and mailed with a voided check to:

    3. Mail your payment to us
    Return the lower portion of your bill, along with a check or money order, in the envelope provided with your bill and mail it to:

  • Cash is also accepted at Liberty Utilities customer walk-in centers. There is no fee for this service.

    2. Use your bank’s online bill payment service 
    Most banks and credit unions offer bill payment services to their customers. Liberty Utilities can be set up as a Payee in the system. Contact your financial institution for more information.

Things To Keep In Mind: 

  • Depending on which payment method you choose, the processing time can vary from 1-10 days. If your due date is less than ten days away, we recommend using a payment method with a faster processing time, such as paying in person or over the phone

  • If you are making a payment after receiving a past due notice, please call our customer service line at 1-800-782-2506 and provide a representative with your payment confirmation number to avoid disconnection

  • Credit, ATM Debit and checking account transactions have a $5.00 minimum and $600.00 maximum. The system will accept up to 3 separate transactions per day, per account number

  • Checks returned as non-sufficient funds (NSF) will incur a fee
