Paying Your Bill

We offer many different ways to make payments. While most of the ways are free, some do incur a small processing fee. We do not profit from this fee.

Explore the two different options below to help you find the best and most convenient way for you to pay your bill.

    • Pay by credit or debit card. American Express is now accepted.

    • Enroll in Automatic Payments:
      Liberty is glad to offer Automatic Payments. The amount of your bill will be paid by automatic deduction from your checking account on the date before your bill becomes delinquent. You will continue to receive a statement, with the wording “DO NOT PAY”. You are encouraged to carefully review your statement for accuracy.

    • Drop Box:
      Liberty has a drop box located at the front of the building by the front door for after-hours payments.  Payments placed in the drop box are opened every morning after 8:00 am. Any payments made after 8:00 am will be posted the following business day.
    • Authorized payment agents: 7-Eleven only
      You can now make a payment on your current bi-monthly bill at any participating 7-Eleven locations. You will need to take your current billing stub with you in order to make a payment. A fee of $1.49 is charged.

Things To Keep In Mind: 

  • Depending on which payment method you choose, the processing time can vary from 1-10 days. If your due date is less than ten days away, we recommend using a payment method with a faster processing time, such as paying in person or over the phone.
  • There is no maximum limit if you choose to pay at 7-Eleven location.
  • Credit, ATM Debit and checking account transactions have a $1.00 minimum and a $600 maximum payment per transaction.
    If your balance is larger than $600, you can make up to 8 separate transactions per 26 day period. You will be charged $1.75 per transaction.
  • Checks returned as non-sufficient funds (NSF) will incur a fee.
  • Note Regarding Wal-Mart Payment Centers and all other non-authorized payment centers. Only 7-Eleven is an authorized Liberty Utilities Payment Location. If you pay your Liberty Utilities bill at other payment centers, transactions will not post to your account immediately. Payment posting may take approximately three or more days after you make your payment at Wal-Mart and other payment centers. Wal-Mart and other payment centers offers this service to the public, and you may be charged a convenience fee.
