211 Service - Residential - California Electric - Liberty

What is 211?

211 is a free 24/7 information and referral service for community services. 211 is supported by United Ways of California, public and private funders, and city and county agencies. The service connects people with health and human services and resources when assistance is needed. 211 is available to communities in multiple languages via call, web, and text.

During times of disaster, 211 provides incident specific information by coordinating with local emergency services. With 211, communities can access information about shelter, food, medical, and recovery services. 211 also provides information about utility assistance programs, such as the California Alternative Rates for Energy (CARE) program, the Family Electric Assistance (FERA) program, and the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).
