To view an estimated restoration time (ERT) for an outage, zoom in to an impacted area and click on the red line that indicates an outage. A window will pop-up and display the ERT. Alternatively, you can lookup your address using the search function, then click on the red line that indicates an outage.
Please note: ERTs will not always be available, particularly at the beginning of an outage or if the outage occurs in a remote location. It may take several hours to provide an ERT, as crews need to first investigate and determine the issue causing the outage.
If your power goes out, please report it right away. This information helps our crews locate the issue and begin making repairs more quickly. Do not assume your neighbors already reported – more reports are helpful. To report an outage, please do NOT use social media. Instead, please call 760-247-6484 or click the button below.

What to Do
Social media is not connected to our dispatch and therefore does not work as a reporting tool. However, outage information and updates are posted on our Facebook and Twitter channels between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m.

Liberty Utilities makes continuous investments in our infrastructure to improve service reliability. However, outages can still occur for many reasons—some beyond our control. The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) requires Liberty to post the two worse performing circuits as measured by the System Average Interruption Duration Index (SAIDI), an industry standard.
For 2017, these two circuits were Truckee 7201 and Washoe 201. Both of these circuits sustained multiple day outages related to the severe storms in January/February 2017. The Washoe 201 circuit also experienced a significant outage duration related to a wildfire in the Floriston area.
